We’ve covered lots of delicious foods previously (see, Anglo-Indian Food), but there are many alternate recipes, and especially the traditional Anglo-Indian foods deserve a mention. Some of these ‘staple Anglo-Indian foods’ are:

A post by the Taste Magician caught my eye. The post identifies the Anglo Indian community as ‘a very vibrant one’ and of course the association with ‘absolutely delicious food.’ The post contains recipes for ‘ball curry and coconut rice’, along with ‘Anglo-Indian all spice powder’ and ‘pepper water’ – neatly summarised as:

“Meatballs in a coconut curry with a yellow rice induced with coconut milk. The first pressed coconut milk used in the curry and the second pressed coconut milk used for the rice. It is a marriage made in heaven and can only be achieved by the Anglos, purely because they have Passion for it.”
