Interact with the Anglo-Indian Project

At the beginning of this year, I researched the best time to visit India. Based upon the many factors, the window of opportunity appeared to be September – December to take the trip to Bombay in 2016.
As the trip draws closer – September – it’s got me in accentuated reflective mode:
- What is the purpose of the Anglo-Indian Project? (some description on the blog here, but with time the project has – in some ways – evolved beyond it’s initial quest)
- What aspects of the project are important for this trip?
- What needs to be done before, during and after the trip?
Recent posts – on blog schedules (courtesy of Davy D) and on the overall AIP – have ‘reflected my reflective mindset’, and some of the possible (positive) changes that can be made. Of course, other life events do dictate the extent and pace at which these things can happen.
With the trip to Bombay closing in, I have searched back through the many posts and marveled at historical family artifacts. Whilst Bombay has changed over the years (not least the name change to Mumbai), excitement and anticipation is high to go and explore the city that was once home to many of my ancestors.
I’ll keep pondering ‘what next for AIP?’, which will inevitably be shaped by the upcoming adventure to the world’s most interesting country*.
*bias, of course, accepted.
