A talk on indigo given by Miles Macnair at the FIBIS AGM November 2010. Miles’ ancestor was one of the largest indigo planters in East Bengal (at Neechindapur, now in Bangladesh) with 11 factories and employing up to 60,000 ryots! Miles is a FIBIS Member.
