As part of the culture to review and reflect on progress at the Anglo-Indian Project, changes have been made.
Website
A new look for the Anglo-Indian Project, which you’ll find more accessible. From any post or page you visit on the website, you’ll be able to find out more about the project by clicking the ‘About the Anglo-Indian Project‘ link:

On many pages and posts, additional details will be available on the left side of the screen:

Logo’s and Headers
The logo has been updated:

and the header of the website:

Social Media
All social media platforms have been updated accordingly. In addition, Tumblr, Google+ and Instagram have been removed as they weren’t adding any value to the project. The following 4 social media platforms remain:
Facebook: The Facebook community page has proved popular and will remain in its current format.
Paper.li: Paper.li is also popular and a valuable supplement to the AIP website.
Twitter: The Twitter community have been particularly engaged, helpful and played an effective role in shaping the AIP to date.
YouTube: The AIP YouTube channel provides a valuable collection of films and media relating to Anglo-Indian history.
General ‘tidying up’
The general ‘tidying-up’ of the project and website continues, such as, ‘categories’ and ‘tags’ being refined and sorted (this is taking longer than anticipated, but getting there!)
Posts will continue to be delivered twice per week (on Wednesdays and Fridays at 6am BST) and this will be kept under constant review. Reflecting on the high volume of information the AIP has to share and with ambitious plans ahead, this will inevitably change when the time is right.
For now, I hope you enjoy the new format and please do get in touch and let us know what you think of the new look – in the comments below, via the Get in touch page or through one of our social media platforms.
Thank you for your continued support and interaction with the Anglo-Indian Project. I look forward to our future conversations.

Like the look of the new site Dan and much easier to navigate.
Thanks Dave, general feedback is very positive. Onwards and upwards!
