The first post as part of the AIP #MondayMusings series takes us back to early 2015. Armed with some names and some microfilm, feelings of excitement and pessimism alternated. But, there was no need to worry.

Day one in the British Library, London, Tuesday 27th January, 2015. I was feeling excited but slightly pessimistic that I would actually find any information. After renewing my library membership, I made my way up to the Asian and African Reading Room (this is where they store the records for the India Office Family History Search which I had previously tracked down via FIBIS).

Looking back Dan I bet there is a sense of pride and achievement as to how far you have come in the three years. This is a great example of taking things step by step and having to do the hard yards.
Thanks, Dave. It does, and offers a good space for reflection. What next? How to improve? What to do with all this information? Step by step, slowly but surely, it’s coming together.
